November Stewardship Message

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing. — Malachi 3:10 (NRSV)
The Call to Faithful Giving:
Malachi 3:10 emphasizes the significance of bringing the full tithe into the storehouse, ensuring that God's house is provided for. In this passage, the Lord invites His people to test Him through their obedience, promising that He will open the floodgates of heaven and pour out immeasurable blessings for their faithfulness. This verse highlights both the responsibility of giving and the assurance of divine provision in response to faithful stewardship.
Stewardship Committee:
Alana Frett, Joanne Thomas, Fay Rhoden-Barrett, and Sheila Williams

Protect your personal information and declutter at the same time. It’s time to bring your boxes of documents to Hillandale for shredding. Please remember to remove all paper clips, staples, and other bindings before dropping them off. Please place your boxes in the first room on the right as you enter the Children’s Church classroom downstairs in the Education Building.

Place Your Poinsettia Orders by November 30
It's that time of year again to place your orders for poinsettias. They always make the sanctuary so beautiful. They will be $13.50 each, and we need your orders by November 30, but the earlier the better. They will be at the December 21 service. If you would like to place an order, please notify any of the deaconesses. Checks should be made payable to Hillandale Baptist Church. Thank you.
Emergency Contact Information Update
Thank you to everyone who has already submitted their emergency contact forms. In the coming days, we will begin reaching out—by email or phone—to those who have not yet completed a form.
Having up-to-date emergency contact information is essential. It enables the church to respond quickly and appropriately in the event of an emergency or urgent situation. Forms are available on the welcome table. You may return your completed form by placing it in the collection plate or by emailing the information directly to hbc20783@gmail.com.
Thank you for helping us care for one another as a church family.
