The Deaconesses are to be servants of the church, focusing on the well-being of members and the church as a whole. Deaconess responsibilities includes: 

• Serve closely with the Pastor and the Board of Deacons as needed.
• Assist in the observance of the Lord's Supper and other worship activities as needed.
• Assist with any baptisms.
• Send birthday, get well, and sympathy cards.
• During the service be ready to assist where necessary.
• Actively support the various programs of the church.
