Deaconess Ministry

The Deaconess Ministry of Hillandale Baptist Church consists of seven (7) Deaconesses who serve the church and its community with the Pastor and the Deacons in the following areas:

Visitation ministry

Meets with the Board of Deacons on matters of joint responsibility

Assists the Pastor and Deacons in the administration of the ordinances of Baptism and communion

Arranges for flowers for bereaved families to be delivered to the funeral home, church or home

Coordinates with the Fellowship Ministry Team for the use of our Fellowship Hall or church Parlor in providing a repast after a funeral or memorial service as requested
